Legal practice: since 2019
At our law firm, Ficek & Partners, I am responsible for conducting initial consultations with clients at the start of our representation. That means you will likely meet with me first. I am not alone in the team—together with my colleagues at our firm, we will lend you a helping hand and be a strong partner for you, no matter how complicated the disputes you are facing.
In addition to my legal practice, I have experience teaching students at the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava, where I worked for several years. I have authored numerous professional articles and earned a PhD. I obtained my JUDr. title in 2015.
After years of intensive study and work in the legal field, I became a lawyer. Today, it is fulfilling for me to be able to utilize my acquired experience in providing legal services to clients. I continue to devote myself to expanding my knowledge, just as I did during my time as a doctoral candidate at the oldest law faculty in Slovakia (Comenius University).
Even during my university studies, I worked as a legal assistant, and after graduation, I worked as a trainee lawyer (paralegal) and then as a lawyer (advocate).
My professional practice so far has allowed me to gain a wealth of practical experience and skills. This includes handling complex legal issues, preparing various types of contracts, legal opinions, and statements, as well as conducting complicated legal analyses in civil and commercial law. I have extensive experience in civil litigation, as I have represented clients in numerous administrative and court proceedings.
I focus primarily on civil law (protection of personal rights, marital property co-ownership, joint ownership, inheritance law, contract law), family law (divorces, alimony, parental contact with children, parental disagreements in child-related disputes, adoption), commercial law (contract law, disputes, debt collection, consulting), and administrative law.
You will often find me in court, as I oversee contentious matters.
There are areas I do not handle at all, such as tax law, financial law, or bankruptcy and restructuring.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love collecting travel experiences, taking nature walks, and baking.
I wish my clients as few legal problems as possible and that they take preventive steps rather than resolving issues after the fact.
